Enjoy a relaxing 2 hr. cruise around Beaufort harbor aboard the 47 foot sailing yacht "Bravado". Sail along the historic Beaufort waterfront, home of the notorious pirate Black Beard, We will then head to Fort Macon and Shackleford Banks where you may see North Carolina's wild horses. While you're waiting for the sun to set over Core Sound enjoy a glass of wine or a cold beer. Make sure you bring your camera to capture one of our spectacular sunsets.

If you want to spend the whole day on the water, we offer a sailing cruise to the spectacular Cape Lookout Bight. On this cruise you will experience some open ocean sailing as we set sail 6 miles up the Outer Banks shoreline into the protected waters of the Cape Lookout Bight. While we are at anchor you can spend either a few hours relaxing on the deck of the boat or we will dingy to beach forswiming, sunbathing or walking the miles of shore . Our cancellation policy for the Sailing Class is different from our other charter options. This is because of the extended length of the course which makes it more difficult to book other guests. A 100% refund will be made if you cancel at least 3 weeks prior to the course start date. A 50% refund is made if you cancel 2 weeks prior to the course start date. No refund will be awarded within 2 week of the course start date.

Bravado is insured for general liability by Boat US Gieco insurance company. We are not insured if you go in the water to swim or while you are ashore. Those activities will be conducted at your own risk.

The above itinerary is a general outline for the class but is subject to change at the discretion of the instructor.

Most weather conditions will not affect the class schedule since it consists of both classroom and on the water instructions. This allows us to adjust the schedule around it.

We recommend bringing a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, light jacket, rain jacket, swimsuit and deck or tennis shoes. We will be within cell phone service at least 90 percent of the time during the class hours.
